Three drains at the foot of Hume Walk have been unblocked by the Council Parks Department

By Simon on 6 August 202427 October 2024

Many thanks to City of Edinburgh Parks Department for clearing the drains on 30 July 2024. These drains are in the southwest section of the hill (or lower left on the map) and complement the work done by Edinburgh & Lothian Greenspaces Trust and CHCT volunteers in clearing the open stone rainwater runoff channels along Hume Walk.

Next time there’s a downpour we will be able to see the drainage system in action!
