The meeting will begin with a talk on the ‘Role of Conservation Trusts: a Water of Leith perspective‘ by Helen Brown, Manager of the Water of Leith Conservation Trust.
We propose to adopt a new constitution to enable us to apply for Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) status — so we can become a registered charity with the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR). The draft version is now available here.
We invite nominations for the Committee, who will become the Board of Trustees, if the new constitution is adopted. The nomination form is online here.
We hope as many members and prospective members as possible will attend!
