The area of covered by ivy has grown exponentially over the past two or three years. This is particularly noticeable on the Regent Road perimeter of the hill. As with almost any species imbalance, the overabundance of ivy can mean less diversity particularly on the ground.
The Trust are discussing with the council how it can be cut back and removed.
