Historic Environment Scotland (HES) are asking the public to have their say on the future of Edinburgh’s Holyrood Park, which includes Arthur’s Seat, prominently visible from Calton Hill.
Holyrood Park is the major part of the Arthur’s Seat Volcano Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) which also contains Calton Hill and Castle Rock.
The consultation opened on 26 September and will last until 19 December. Much of the content is about land management, but road access is also currently an issue in the media.
