Yesterday, the council distributed a two-page information flyer to local residents explaining the FireWork Control Zone (FCZ) for Calton Hill from 1 to 10 November, and a map of the public area of the hill where the FCZ applies.
There will be 3 telephone lines for reporting: Council on 0131 200 2000, Police on 101, and Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
We still have no information about the closure of the access barrier on Calton Hill Drive. We think closure is essential to the success of the FCZ.
