The Hindu festival of Dusherra, the triumph of good over evil, or more specifically Prince Rama over the demon Ravana, will be held on Calton Hill from 14.30 to 20.00 on Sunday 29 October. Expect lots of dancing, some burning of effigies and fireworks. Vehicular access up Calton Hill Drive will be restricted.
