We’ve laid 100 square metres, about one-tenth of the total eroded area, and we’ve marked off the places with metal stakes and warning tape. We understand it will take up to six weeks for the grass to re-establish, which would be early March. We hope it will be possible for the public to be walking over the grass (again!) by the time of the Beltane Festival on 30 April.
The re-grassing has been paid for by an award from the Community Grants Fund.
