The temporary portaloos on Regent Walk, Calton Hill were covered in low-level tagging, on or before 25 September.
The marking is on plastic. This has been reported to the council, and we are looking at effective ways of removing it. We are experienced at overpainting metal, but plastic will require a different technique.
Update 28 September 2025: Many thanks to Edinburgh Council who removed the graffiti on the doors of the portaloos. (We hope the ‘Punks not dead’ marking on the end of the row can be washed off later.)
