The City of Edinburgh are holding a consultation on a proposed Calton Hill Firework Control Zone or FCZ, which would restrict the use of private fireworks. It wouldn’t apply to official events.
We hope all our members will answer the consultation. The consultation will be open until 23 August. The link is here.
N.B. CHCT originally applied in May for an FCZ to apply to the public park area of the hill. However the council are now consulting on an area double that of the park, including Regent Gardens, the Old Royal High School, the surroundings terraces and mews and Greenside Church.
