The Calton Hill Firework Control Zone (FCZ) has been approved for another two years (2025, 2026) — lasting each year from 31 October to 9 November.
This follows a consultation in which 85% of respondents supported the FCZ.
The 2024 Calton Hill Firework Control Zone was regarded as a success as it resulted in considerably less litter and damage to the grass, as well as a reduction in noise for residents.
