The Trust is holding a bat observing and detecting walk on Saturday, 19 April, starting at 20.00 in the evening, just before sunset. This will be led by the bat specialist, Graeme Wilson of GW Ecology.
Graeme will give a short introduction to bats, before each participant will be given a detector and shown how to use it.
The walk is being arranged in connection with mammal surveys we are conducting for our Inspiring Scotland-funded Biodiversity Management Plan.
All are welcome. Non-members will be asked to make a £10 donation — or join! Please write to <Chair@CaltonHillTrust.org> to reserve a place. Please note this group will be limited to 16 participants.
